Explanation: 22 Days of downtime. We're back.
We Own Our Infrastructure Now
Three weeks of downtime. Here’s what happened.
We were on a third-party host that let us push massive amounts of data with unmetered egress. Three months in, they suspended the account. No warning. No email. No reply—despite paying them over $10k/month.
We had no choice but to build our own stack. We ordered custom servers, HDDs, NICs, and routers. Everything shipped from China to our DC, which took time. Upstream contracts added a few more days.
It’s done. The infrastructure is fully owned by us. No more third-party risks.
We’re back and running on our own hardware.
